BUILT BY PEOPLE WHO PAY ATTENTION.

Before Rad Pop, there were outbreak investigations, sled dogs, school groups, and decades of learning how to take care of people. The popcorn came later.

CARECAMEFIRST

THE POPCORN INHERITED THE OPERATING SYSTEM.

Rad Pop was built by a public health nurse and an outdoor educator. Long before there was a kettle, we were learning how to read a room, plan for real humans, stay adaptable, and make people feel looked after.

That became the way we run the business. We prep hard. We solve problems quickly. We make the booth feel welcoming. We take the work seriously without taking ourselves too seriously.

Sometimes care looks like a public-health plan. Sometimes it looks like fresh lemonade and a bag of Big Dill Energy.

PORTLANDISTHE POINT

WE ARE NOT HERE TO BECOME THE BIGGEST POPCORN COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

We are here to build a good Portland business: useful, joyful, rooted, and worth having in the neighborhood.

Rad Pop grew up in markets, street fairs, independent shops, school events, and long days serving people face-to-face. Portland gave us permission to be practical, colorful, a little strange, and entirely ourselves. We want every bag that leaves the city to represent it well.

Growth only counts if it creates good work, strengthens local relationships, supports other small businesses, and lets us keep showing up.

We are here for the popcorn.
We are here for the people.
We are very much here for Portland.

SHOWINGUPMATTERS

THE BEST PART IS NEVER THE POLISHED PART.

It is the crowded booth, the neighborhood regulars, the kid asking for the blue one, the retailer who makes room on the shelf, and the moment a stranger becomes a repeat customer.

Those are the small, specific connections we are building the business around.

HOWWEWORK

FUN, WITH A SPINE.

Playful on purpose. Reliable by default.

01

Pay attention

Details are hospitality. Ingredients, timing, labels, customers, cleanup: it all counts.

02

Make it feel good

Color, flavor, warmth, and a little absurdity are part of the product.

03

Do the work

Deadlines, cases, logistics, and long days. Playful does not mean flimsy.

04

Stay rooted

Relationships first. Growth second. Portland always in the frame.
